Spring Knowledge Master Open

Champlain Valley Union High School continued its run as Vermont's top scoring team in the Knowledge Master Open with a strong showing in the 2008 spring edition of the computerize tournament.
 
The Redhawks scored 1653 of a possible 2000 points on the multiple-choice examination, placing 22nd overall out of 703 teams from around the world. CVU correctly answered 189 of the 200 questions and led a strong showing for Vermont teams.

 Essex (1534 points, 90th) and South Burlington (1529, 91st) also cracked the top 100, with Burlington (1470, 154th) and Mt. Mansfield (1468, 157th) not far behind. Nine Vermont teams competed overall.

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology from Virginia won the overall championship with 1806 points.
