Welcome to the home of competitive academics in the state of Vermont! Scholars' Bowl is a question-and-answer academic game played by teams of high school students. This season, Hanover High School bested 33 other schools from around the Green Mountain State to claim the title and earn the opportunity to represent Vermont in national competition.

Congratulations to Hanover High School, our 2007-08 state champion!

Hanover claims the hardware
Hanover is the 2007-08 state champion and it got there in style. Coming out of the play-in round, the Marauders rolled to three victories at Champlain College on April, earning their record-tying fourth state title and their first since 2004. A 370-210 victory over Essex in the final capped the run after Hanover beat South Burlington 320-185 in the play-in match and defending champion Champlain Valley 330-230 in the semifinals. In the other matches on the season's final day, Essex beat Rice 255-200 in semifinals and South Burlington topped Lamoille 270-200 for the Medlar Cup title.
