	Vermont's high school question-and-answer academic competition for more than 40 years
	Welcome to the home of competitive academics in the state of Vermont. Since the 1983-84 school year, the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl has been challenging teams of high school students to show their smarts in a fast-paced question-and-answer format.

HANOVER HIGH SCHOOL: 2025-26 STATE CHAMPION

The team from Hanover High School swept through the playoff brackets in January and April to to claim the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl state championship.

Burlington, Mt. Abraham Lead Closely Contested Opening Regional
The regional phase of the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl season begin on October 27th as eight teams from five schools competed at Mt. Abraham Union High School. The results were fiercely competitive throughout the competition, with Burlington and Mt. Abraham A leading the standings with 4-1 records and CVU A and BFA-Fairfax A close behind at 3-2. Burlington won the head-to-head matchup with Mt. Abraham 255-250 but dropped a 270-150 decision to CVU A for it's one defeat. All match scoress
